Condos and Town Homes
San Diego is home to quite a few condos and town homes! What are the difference between a condo and a town home?
A San Diego town home generally you own land as well. A little bit of land in the front and back is usually what the typical town home possesses. With a town home you also don’t have people on all sides of you. It’s generally you own whatever is between 2 points.
When you own a condo, however, you own what’s between 4 walls. This can or cannot be a good thing. Condos have less privacy, but if you’re just looking for a weekend getaway.
The great thing about condos and townhomes is if you don’t like doing yardwork, then this is the way to go! Most of the townhome/condo property owners take care of the exterior with an HOA fee or something similar. Another great thing about buying a condo in San Diego is that they can be used for a variety of reasons. When you buy a town home or a condo you can either want to live there, rent it out or use it as a vacation home. This is terrific! Especially if you own a town home/ condo in San Diego or surrounding areas. You also can find them in all shapes and sizes!
Some of the most sought after condos/ town homes are in the San Diego area. One area in particular, is Coronado!
